The goal of the Photo SIG is to help members better use their camera to take better pictures.
We will discuss digital cameras and photography from basic camera controls, taking pictures, loading images on to the computer, and basic and intermediate editing, both photos and videos.
Topic examples:
- Camera control settings.
- Basic principles of photography and photographic composition.
- Using Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Premier Elements, demo:
- Basic image editing such as levels, cropping and correction of brightness, contrast and color.
- More advanced editing techniques like cloning, layers, selective dodging and burning, image composition enhancement, and making collages and projects.
We will make six or more presentations but encourage other members to also present. So far Mike, Loel, and Emil have also volunteered to present. Anyone else is welcome.
